US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested a criminal immigrant convicted of multiple felonies in Washington state, including robbery and carrying a weapon on school grounds.
Daniel Orson Cacho, 43, of Belize, is a Punta Rocker known as “Lovaboy.” He was sentenced to 2.5 years in Washington state prison over a 2024 liquor store robbery, where Cacho attempted to shoplift alcohol with a 15-year-old female accomplice, who was unrelated to him, according to court documents.
ICE ERO Seattle announced Cacho’s arrest on Friday. Cacho legally immigrated to the US; however, his multiple felony convictions “make him removable from the United States,” the agency said.
In addition to the liquor store robbery on Whidbey Island, where police said Cacho and his minor accomplice were suspects in several previous shoplifting incidents in the region, Cacho was charged in 2019 with two counts of rape of a minor and two counts of kidnapping. The charges were later dismissed, records show.
In 2012, Cacho was accused of sexually molesting a 13-year-old female minor, dating back to when she was the age of 10. He denied the charges and was not convicted. Records show Cacho also has a protection order against him lodged in Washington state.
The performer made a name for himself in the “punta rock” scene. He traveled both nationally and internationally, performing at select venues. Cacho’s most popular single is “Tornado,” and he has also released other singles such as “You Dah Wife,” “Beautiful,” and “Jasmine Low.”
Cacho’s family immigrated to the United States when he was a child. He grew up in Los Angeles before moving to Washington state. His current home address is listed in Everett, Washington, records show.
ICE ERO Seattle said that Cacho will be removed from the United States.
