It’s been a little while since we last reported on some Nintendo Switch games that have been fixed for Switch 2 for backwards compatibility, but a new batch is in. Most of the titles here were addressed in conjunction with the most recent system update.
There are some big names that have been fixed, including Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. For this one specifically, while it was functional, Nintendo previously noted that users may encounter audio issues – though thankfully, that won’t happen any longer.
Below is the full list of backwards compatibility fixes for Nintendo Switch games on Switch 2 for March 2026:
- A Hat in Time
- Botany Manor
- Dadish
- Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX+
- Dariusburst SC Core + Taito/SEGA Pack
- Doom (2016)
- Earnest Evans Collection
- Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age
- Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
- Limbo
We also have an update on games containing problems with game progression. That list is as follows:
- Hoop Shoot
- Roman Rumble in Las Vegum – Asterix & Obelix XXL 2
- Summer Games Challenge: Jumping & Shooting
- Summer Games Challenge: Running
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed
Finally, for games that do work but have issues, we have news about that for Pizza Tower and Laysara: Summit Kingdom. With Pizza Tower, Nintendo cautions that players may experience graphics problems in some areas. For Laysara: Summit Kingdom, touch-screen controls may not work properly in some parts of the game. We’ll also mention that the Japan-only game Model Debut #nicola may have screen distortion in some scenes.
This was a big week for Nintendo Switch 2 with the console receiving a major firmware update this week – full details can be found here. Also, we have information about prior titles that were fixed for backwards compatibility here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
