March 5 (UPI) — A Maryland woman scored a $50,000 top prize from a Bonus Match 5 lottery drawing almost exactly one year after winning the same amount from the same game.
The Westminster resident visited Maryland Lottery headquarters March 4 to collect $50,000 she won from a November 2025 Bonus Match 5 drawing.
The woman scored a $50,000 top prize in the drawing, as well as another $15 from a second ticket. She said the numbers for the big winner were copied from a quick pick ticket that previously earned her a $400 prize.
“If I have a winning ticket, I play it the next day,” she said.
The woman previously scored $50,000 from a Bonus Match 5 drawing in November 2024 — almost exactly one year prior to her most recent win.
“Bonus Match 5 is my everyday game,” she said.
The winner said she is considering whether to use her latest prize money to buy a new vehicle or to remodel her kitchen.
