Feb. 4 (UPI) — A system malfunction at a Pennsylvania car wash caused a woman and her car to be trapped inside for nearly an hour.

Felicia Sullivan, who chronicled her experience on TikTok, said she was at the Waynesboro Waterworks car wash in Waynesboro when the system abruptly shut off and the doors closed while her car was still covered in soap.

Sullivan’s video shows her attempting to use an emergency button inside the wash, but she finds it is also not working.

Sullivan said she attempted to knock on the doors and call for help, but was unable to get anyone’s attention.

She ended up calling the police, and was freed from the car wash by officers and the owner of the business about 45 minutes later.

Sullivan said she and her car were not harmed, and she does not bear any ill will toward the car wash owner, who apologized to her with a stack of gift cards.
