EUROCRATS IN MELTDOWN: Globalist Boss Warns Trump To KEEP HIS HANDS OFF Europe Amid Free Speech Crackdown

The unelected overlords in Brussels are getting jittery. With PresidentTrump back in the White House and vowing to put America First, top Eurocrat Antonio Costa has issued a stern warning against U.S. meddling in European affairs. This comes as the EU ramps up its assault on free speech, slapping Elon Musk’s X with a hefty penalty for daring to prioritize open discourse over bureaucratic censorship.

It’s no secret the EU is crumbling under the weight of its own failed policies. Mass migration, stifling regulations, and an obsession with controlling online speech have turned the continent into a cautionary tale – one that Trump isn’t shy about calling out.

?? The president of the European Council has warned Donald Trump not to meddle in Europe’s politics after the White House threatened to use populist parties to cultivate “resistance” to Brussels.

Costa, speaking at an event in Paris, slammed a new U.S. national security strategy that’s highly critical of the EU, declaring that “allies do not threaten to interfere in the domestic political choices of their allies.” He added, “The US must respect the sovereignty of Europe just as Europe respects the sovereignty of the US.” The strategy, released last week, blasts Europe for over-regulation and facing “civilizational erasure” due to unrestrained mass migration, while calling for the restoration of “Western identity.”

Costa’s remarks condemn U.S. backing for Eurosceptic parties and pressure to ease up on tech giants like X. He insisted the EU will not tolerate political interference, responding directly to the document’s warnings about Europe’s trajectory.

Trump isn’t buying the EU’s facade. In a recent White House interview, he urged Europeans to wake up to the dangers of unchecked third-world migration, stating it’s “endangering the continent as we know it,” and urging “I think the European people should do something about it.”

Drawing from insider intel, Trump revealed, “I have eyes, I have ears, I have knowledge, I have vast knowledge. I see what’s happening. I get reports that you will never see. And I think it’s horrible what’s happening to Europe!”

Stressing that Europe is nearing a point of no return, Trump insisted “They’ll change their ideology! The people coming in have a totally different ideology. It’ll make them much weaker, much different.”

“They should be FREAKED OUT,” he said, pointing to examples like “the mayor of London! [Sadiq Khan].”

“I hate what’s happened to London, to Paris, I HATE when I see it,” Trump noted, adding “They wanna be so politically correct. Europe doesn’t know what to do!”

Echoing these sentiments in another interview, Trump emphasized, “Look, Europe has to be very careful. (They’re) doing a lot of things. We want to keep Europe Europe.” He reiterated, “Europe is going in some bad directions. It’s very bad, very bad for the people. We don’t want Europe to change so much. They’re going in some very bad directions.”

Trump also called the EU’s $140 million fine on X “nasty” and said, “I don’t think it’s right.”

This transatlantic tension boils over into the EU’s relentless push to muzzle free expression. As we detailed earlier, Brussels hit X with a €120 million ($140 million) penalty under the Digital Services Act (DSA) for “deceptive” blue checkmarks, inadequate ad transparency, and blocking data access for researchers.

The DSA is nothing short of a censorship machine, empowering regulators to dictate content under the pretext of fighting “hate speech” and “misinformation.” Since Musk took over X in 2022, the EU has hounded the platform for refusing to bend to their narrative control.

EU officials like Vice-President Vera Jourová warned Musk against “freedom of speech absolutism,” declaring the “time of the Wild West is over” and threatening sanctions. Commissioner Thierry Breton demanded X tackle “illegal content and disinformation” on Gaza, only for Musk to demand specifics publicly.

Musk fired back fiercely after the fine, declaring, “the EU commissars are responsible for the murder of Europe.”  He further called to “Dissolve the EU and return power to the people,” while noting X’s surge to the top news app in every EU country: “Now number 1 in every EU country!”

He slammed European leaders as “traitors to their own people” and highlighted inconsistencies, like Meta escaping similar fines despite its verification system. Musk even likened the EU to a “Fourth Reich,” borrowing from Hitler’s playbook to oppress citizens.

Recalling his motive for buying the platform, he said, “I didn’t do the Twitter purchase because I thought it was a great way to make money. I knew that there would be a zillion slings and arrows coming in my direction. It really felt like, there was a civilizational danger that unless one of the major online platforms broke ranks, then, because they’re all just behaving in lockstep along with the legacy media. Literally there was no place to actually get the truth. It was almost impossible. So everything was just getting censored. The power of the censorship apparatus was incredible.”

Musk endorsed “remigration” as the “normal position,” backing deportation of criminal foreign nationals.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has been vocal too. Reacting to rumors of the X fine, he posted, “Rumors swirling that the EU commission will fine X hundreds of millions of dollars for not engaging in censorship. The EU should be supporting free speech not attacking American companies over garbage.”

In his February 2025 Munich Security Conference speech, Vance blasted EU leaders for treating citizens like “interchangeable cogs in a global economy” and noted, “No voter on this continent went to the ballot box to open the floodgates to millions of unvetted immigrants.” German officials called his views “unacceptable,” but Vance’s words expose the disconnect between EU elites and the people they claim to represent.

The EU’s actions – from DSA fines to proposed Chat Control laws scanning private messages – reveal a surveillance state in the making, all while lecturing America on sovereignty.

Costa’s warnings ring hollow against the backdrop of Europe’s self-inflicted wounds. Trump and Musk are shining a light on a globalist agenda that is eroding freedoms and borders alike.

If Brussels keeps prioritizing bureaucracy over democracy, the calls to dissolve the EU will only grow louder. Trump and his allies are standing firm against such overreach – and encouraging Europeans to reclaim their continent before it’s too late.
