WATCH: CBS Reporter DEFIES Orders Not to “Focus” On Crowd Celebrating Trump’s Actions in Iran

A CBS Austin reporter is going viral after he refused to follow orders from his boss not to cover a massive crowd praising President Trump’s strikes on Iran.

While standing in front of a huge group of people who were celebrating Trump’s actions, he received a text message and asked someone off-camera what it meant.

This person could be heard telling him that “they don’t want us to focus on this.”

The reporter defiantly answered, “Alright. Well, I am,” and did so anyways!

BREAKING: This Austin CBS reporter is being praised nationwide for REFUSING to follow orders from a higherup to IGNORE massive support for Trump and Israel obliterating Khamenei

Now, that’s what you call real journalism!

No bias.

Just reporting the facts.

And, the facts are that — much to the mainstream media’s dismay — there is overwhelming support for President Trump and the strikes that took out Khamenei.

By the way, this courageous reporter’s name is Vinny Martorano.

He shared this footage from the Texas Capitol:

“Thank you Trump”

He also shared a clip of this (much smaller) group of protestors:

Here’s more from the full CBS Austin report:

A U.S. and Israeli strike on Iran that left dozens dead, including the nation’s supreme leader, is drawing sharply divided reactions in Texas, where some residents gathered at the Capitol to celebrate and others called for peace and warned of broader consequences.

Many state leaders and Texans voiced conflicting views over the morning strike in Iran. The attack killed many people in Iran, and while some people called for peace in the Middle East, others said it was the right thing to do.

In Austin, people went to the Texas Capitol to share their views. Some Austinites who said they are from Iran celebrated the coordinated attack.

“We just want to say this is not war to us,” Sholeh Zendehdel, who lives in Austin, said. “All of the Iranian people, inside and outside, we are all happy for what happened.”

Others at the Capitol urged an end to conflict.

“It just shows that our government does not represent the will of the people. Because the people do not want another war in the middle east. The people want peace,” said PJ Cornell, identified as the Central Region Officer for the American Communist Party of Texas.

Vinny is getting a lot of praise online for bravely sticking to his values and covering the story regardless of orders from his higher-ups to spin the narrative.

Take a look at some of these replies:

This is one way to be courageous!

Wow…

Props to that reporter!
