Vanderbilt ceases some adult gender surgeries due to ‘lack of coverage,’ other issues


After pausing sex-change surgeries for minors in 2022, Vanderbilt University Medical Center has now decided to stop offering certain forms of so-called “gender-affirming care” for adults, but some life-altering interventions for individuals suffering from gender dysphoria will continue.
