Over 300 players came to Richmond, Virginia to compete in Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed. After two days of hard-fought Draft and Standard round, we have our Top 8! These Magic superstars will face off on Sunday, February 1, for the title of Pro Tour champion and all the prestige that comes with it.

After competing in every Pro Tour in 2025, Italian Marco Belacca kicked off another great season by making the Top 8 of Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed. Belacca emerged as the lone undefeated at the end of Day One, wielding a Jeskai Control deck (with just a single creature card in the main deck) that took advantage of the creature-heavy metagame. He only needs that one creature card to win—or zero if Jeskai Revelation is involved—and that could earn him his first Pro Tour trophy on Sunday.
Christoffer Larsen

Christoffer Larsen is no stranger to competitive Magic or the Sunday stage. With multiple Top appearances across many events, from Pro Tours and Grand Prix to Magic Online and the Regional Championships, Larsen is a proven player who ended the 2025 season one point short of a World Championship invitation. Now the cheerful Danish star is right back into the Top 8, ready to claim his first Pro Tour victory in Richmond.

Guglielmo Lupi is early in his Pro Tour career, but he has been on an incredible streak recently. He recently won a Magic Online Champions Showdown in October, earned a finalist appearance at the European RC in November, then made Top 8 at Magic Spotlight: The Avatar in Lyon in January. Now he battled to the top tables in Richmond to claim his first Pro Tour Top 8. Will his hot hands be enough to claim the Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed trophy?

After representing Croatia across several team World Championship appearances in the late 2000s, Toni Portolan carved a path across the 2025 season. After a strong finish at Pro Tour Aetherdrift, a Top 8 at Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering®—FINAL FANTASY™, then another strong performance at both Pro Tour Edge of Eternities and Magic World Championship 31 Portolan finished the year third in Player of the Year standings. Here in Richmond, he didn’t slow down at all, notching his second Pro Tour Top 8. Now he’s marching toward a trophy at Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed.
Eduardo Sajgalik

Eduardo has seen all sides of the competitive Magic world. He’s led Limited testing for Team Worldly Counsel, commentated Grand Prix and Pro Tour coverage in the 2010s, and made the Top 8 Pro Tours in 2012 and 2017. Sajgalik qualified for Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed through the Magic Online Champions Showdown and a Top 8 appearance at a Regional Championship in Calgary. While his initial goal was just to qualify for the next Pro Tour, he’s done that and more with his mighty Izzet Elementals deck.
Luis Salvatto

Luis Salvatto, the winner of Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan, has his sights on a second Pro Tour champion title. Salvatto and the rest of Team Cosmos Heavy Play have been on a hot streak, with Luis himself making the Top 16 of Pro Tour Edge of Eternities and qualifying for this weekend’s event. Piloting an excruciatingly powerful Dimir Excruciator deck in the Top 8, he plans to turn his opponent’s doomsday into another trophy.
Francisco Sánchez

Francisco Sánchez has been a familiar face in the competitive scene for years, and his prominence has only grown with recent events. Sánchez has appeared in two Magic Online Champions Showcase events, then turned his digital success into a finalist finish at Pro Tour Edge of Eternities. His consistency and skill made him one of the top contenders for 2025’s Player of the Year title, and his performance this weekend shows he’s not slowing down. To Sánchez, the next step is obvious: win Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed.

Cyprien’s previous successes at Mythic Invitational 2020 and Arena Championship 9 established his skills, and those skills have earned him his ticket to Sunday’s showdown. Pro Tour Edge of Eternities was Cyprien Tron’s first tabletop Pro Tour, and his 11-5 record put him just shy of a Top 8 appearance. He’s practiced for this Pro Tour with some of Magic‘s best, and he’s proven his worth among them with his performance at Pro Tour Lorwyn Eclipsed.
