The Utah State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) requested subscriber information, phone numbers, email addresses and other identifiable information related to all members of Discord channels that suspected killer Tyler Robinson was involved with. Robinson faces the death penalty if convicted in Kirk’s assassination.

In a recently disclosed affidavit to obtain a search warrant, it was revealed that SBI requested that Discord provide “names and server IDs” from servers with names “Craftopia,” “Gamin,” as well as “The Corruption.”

“The names and server IDs for the following Discord guild/servers “Cafetoria”, “Gamin”, and “The Corruption” were identified as Discord guild/servers that Tyler Robinson is believed to have interacted with,” the warrant stated.

In reference to each of the Dicsord servers, authorities requested “basic subscriber information … including subscriber names, user names, screen names, and any other identifying information,” for the members as well as administrators of the channels.

SBI requested “records of session times and durations, and the temporarily assigned network addresses (such as Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses) associated with those sessions” connected the members and administrators of the channels linked to Robinson.

SBI asked for “records of user activity for each connection made to or from the Account, including log files; messaging logs; the date, time, length, and method of connections; data transfer volume; user names; and source and destination Internet Protocol addresses.”

According to the warrant, Robinson had confessed to his peers on Discord, “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. Im sorry for all of this. Im surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. Thanks for all the good times and laughs, you’ve all been so amazing. Thank you all for everything.”
