Media Falsely Claims Firing Probationary FAA Workers Endangers Air Safety

Desperate to get the public to care about the firings of government employees, the media jumped on the Trump administration’s firings of probationary FAA employees.

The FAA let go of 400 probationary employees. According to the union, these included environmental protection specialists, aviation safety assistants and management and program assistants.

None were air traffic controllers.

Despite that, Democrats and their media tried to link the firings to the recent crashes (which happened beforehand) while insisting that firing probationary employees would endanger airline safety.

It does not.

What is pretty clear is that the mismanagement of the FAA under Biden and Buttigieg, stuffing it full of DEI hires and eco-grifters, while ignoring basic safety is far more likely to have caused the recent disasters.
