Look: Ducklings rescued from storm drain in Texas

April 1 (UPI) — Firefighters, animal services officers and public works employees teamed up in Texas to rescue a family of ducklings from a storm drain.

The Farmers Branch Fire Department said on social media that firefighters worked together with local animal services officers and public works employees when the baby ducks fell into the drain on Tuesday.

The “team quickly lifted the grate and safely rescued all the little ones — no injuries, just a lot of happy peeping,” the post said.

The ducklings were reunited with their mother, who was watching the rescue from nearby.
