A Pennsylvania principal is going viral today for his brilliant handling of spoiled students skipping class to protest ICE.
An apparent student at Wilson High School in Spring Township, Pennsylvania, with the TikTok username othersideofanalia, shared a video on Wednesday showing the school’s principal, Daniel Weber, scolding the kids for walking out of class to protest the very people who are keeping our nation safe from illegal aliens.
Weber is seen telling the students that everything will be fine if they return to class immediately. If not, the children would face suspension.
“We go back to class, and we’re good. If you stay out here, we will get your names, you will be suspended, OK?” Weber said. That is your option at this point because you are operating outside the bounds of what was granted.”
“That event was canceled. You left school without permission,” he continued. “Your rights do not supersede the school. So if you understand that, that is your option.”
Weber again repeated that if the students refused to return to class, they would face suspension.
“If you wish to return, Doctor Damiani will let you in that door over there. If not, I will be getting your names,” he warned. “You will be suspended, OK?”
“Those are your options, all right? Your rights do not exceed that of the school.”
WFMZ reported that the school previously considered allowing an anti-ICE protest, but the event was cancelled.
Despite this, about 60 kids walked out anyway.
WFMZ notes that the students later returned to class without incident but are facing disciplinary action. It is unknown at this point whether such punishment includes suspension or expulsion.
Weber’s proper handling of this situation is a welcome departure from students who have been skipping school with their teachers’ blessing, and unfortunate consequences have been the result.
For example, two students were arrested last week in Washington state after an independent journalist was assaulted.
And today, students ran out of class on a four-lane highway to protest ICE with no authorities in sight.
Miraculously, no one was injured during the incident.
