Epstein Sex Trafficking Immigration Fraud Linked to Top Obama Officials

How did Jeffrey Epstein keep getting away with it? He had connections. And we know who those connections are.

Recently, Kathryn Ruemmler, Obama’s White House counsel, had to resign from her Wall Street position over the Epstein files. We knew back in November that she had been strategizing with Epstein over an offer to replace Eric Holder as Obama’s attorney general.

Yet the media quickly brushed over Epstein’s close ties to a potential Obama attorney general pick as if it were no big deal.

Now we’ve got ties between Epstein and yet another Obama White House counsel and an even bigger fish.

In early 2013, Jeffrey Epstein’s girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, was stressed about her US visa status. Later that year, she married an American citizen and her worries were gone.

Epstein, apparently, wanted to be sure of Shuliak’s immigration status. He reached out to his network seeking help to quietly restore her student visa.

“I don’t want to ask as I prefer her not to be a part of my file,” Epstein wrote in late 2012 to Ian Osborne, a British investor who appears multiple times in the files. “I recall you had a good lawyer friend for immigrarion in washington.”

Osborne said he had someone with links to the highest level at the Immigration and Naturalization Service. That person, Osborne said, was Greg Craig, then a Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom partner, and former White House counsel to President Barack Obama.

Craig “uses an excellent specialist immigration law firm – and then gives Ali Mayorkas over at INS the heads-up,” Osborne wrote, name-dropping the then-head of the US immigration agency, who later served as Secretary of Homeland Security under President Joe Biden.

The email led to Skadden lawyers meeting with Epstein and Osborne on a conference call and enlisting help from an immigration firm they brought in. Craig, according to one message, was also scheduled to join the call. It’s unclear if he did.

Greg Craig had served as a White House special counsel during the Clinton impeachment, and had been a high ranking official in the Obama administration three years beforehand. He became infamous for his involvement in assorted foreign operations including in Ukraine and was indicted in 2019, but walked away.

Jeffrey Epstein was looking into getting Bill and Barack’s White House lawyer to aid in his sex trafficking.

Alejandro Mayorkas was Clinton’s US Attorney in California, he Obama’s USCIS director from 2009 through 2013 at which point he became the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security.

We’ve got an email stating that the former Obama White House counsel, who would later be indicted, had a “specialist immigration law firm” that directly liased with the head of USCIS. This on its own, even without  the Epstein factor would be big. Plug in Epstein and it gets a whole lot worse.

Epstein went on to commit immigration fraud, possibly in the aid of sex trafficking.

On October 9, 2013, Shuliak got married in New York. The name of the person she married was redacted on their certificate of marriage registration, but both of them were listed as living at 301 East 66th Street in New York, an address that appears repeatedly in the files as somewhere that many women and prominent guests associated with Epstein stayed.

Epstein’s girlfriend marries a woman and applies for a ‘green card’ based on it.

What did Obama’s White House counsel know about this? Was the head of USCIS ever in the loop?

The media could ask them. If they were Republicans, they’d be shrieking about it from the tallest trees and Rep. Ro Khanna and Rep. Thomas Massie would be delivering speeches on the House floor.

But it’s just two Obama White House counsels tied to Jeffrey Epstein, one of them a potential AG, and the other being asked to help Epstein with some immigration fraud and sex trafficking, so it’s no big deal.

The media could make the same connections I did and draw the same lines. And if these were Trump officials, it would do it in a second. But it’s also good at carefully not drawing those lines. That’s why every story about Kathryn Ruemmler calls her a “Goldman Sachs lawyer”. That’s technically true, but it’s also like pretending that the most notable thing about Janet Napolitano is that she’s on the faculty at UC Berkeley or that Janet Reno was a Florida gubernatorial candidate.

But this does open another door.

The big question has always been whether Epstein’s ties to the Clintons translated into ties to the Obama administration, and if so how deep did they go. We’re starting to get a hint of Epstein’s connections to Obama.
