One of the largest Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) frauds came to its final end when Sharhabeel Shreiteh was sentenced to a decade in prison. The ‘Palestinian’ accountant is believed to have broken records by filing 1,500 fake PPP applications for over 1,000 clients during the pandemic in a fraud estimated in excess of $14 million.
And a sizable amount of the kickbacks he received didn’t stay here, but went back to his land.
Even while Shreiteh ran tax accounting firms under multiple names in the Chicago suburb of Crete, which has a sizable Muslim population, with his wife, who runs a wig store aimed at the black community, and children, he was sending a fortune to a second wife in the West Bank.
According to the prosecution, Sharhabeel Shreiteh used his illegal cash flow to send hundreds of thousands of dollars to the terrorist occupied territories inside Israel where he maintained a mansion, a Mercedes and a second family. That money is likely unrecoverable by the United States government but once Shreiteh leaves prison, all he has to do is move back there, and he’ll be able to enjoy the mansion, the Mercedes and any money he sent over there.
And we won’t be able to do a thing about it.
In the filings introduced by the prosecution, his first wife appeared to be understandably unhappy with the arrangement.
“I bust my ass for 13 years and don’t have like she gets without working for it!!!” the first Mrs. Shrieteh located in Illinois complained about the second Mrs. Shreiteh. “You gave her kids, a villa, now fancy cars??!!”
More recent social media posts by her however are filled with loving tributes to her husband (and support for ‘Palestine’) so she may have gotten over her outrage at the second family. Islamic Sharia law does allow men to take up to 4 wives and polygamy is legal in the terrorist-occupied territories where at least 1 in 20 marriages are reportedly polygamous.
Polygamy is technically illegal in Israel (but rarely enforced in Muslim no-go zones), but it has boomed under Islamic rule in the terrorist-occupied territories misleadingly described as ‘Palestine’: especially under Hamas in Gaza where online dating sites accommodate men seeking multiple wives and one site owner told the New York Times that “more than half the marriage requests involved men seeking a second or third wife (though not yet a fourth).”
Islamic law also does not obligate a Muslim man to tell his first wife that he is marrying another woman behind her back. As a fatwa told a Muslim man asking if he could have a secret second marriage, “refraining from informing the wife of the second marriage does not constitute deception on the part of the husband. He is entitled to marry another wife as per the Sharee’ah… in fact, polygyny abounds in many benefits that should not be missed merely because of a given wife’s refusal or aversion towards the idea. A woman is naturally averse to polygyny; however, it is not wise to let the wife’s innate aversion towards having co-wives deny the husband the benefits of polygyny.”
So even if Mr. Shreiteh failed to tell the first Mrs. Shreiteh that there was a second Mrs. Shreiteh somewhere in the West Bank of Israel, even as he was buying number two a Mercedes Benz, he was entirely within his rights under Islamic law to lie and cheat on his first wife.
While the media falsely describes the Arab Muslims who call themselves ‘Palestinians’ as an oppressed group taking refuge in America, it’s routine for them to maintain much more lavish homes in the West Bank and Gaza, and second families are also far from unheard of.
The medieval cruelty and barbarism of Islamic law may seem a secondary concern in a massive fraud case, but there is one limitation of Sharia on polygamy that may have led to the fraud.
Islamic law allows a man to marry up to 4 wives as long as he can support them all. This provision of Sharia may have put pressure on Shreiteh to defraud the federal government in order to be able to justify his second wife. American law would have prevented the ‘Palestinian’ Muslim tax accountant in Illinois from getting in so deep, however Islamic Sharia law told him it was a virtue to gratify his worst impulses, all he had to do was find enough money to do it.
And he found the money by stealing it from American taxpayers.
While Sharhabeel Shreiteh’s behavior was completely unacceptable under American law, the accountant, who posted at least one Islamic lecture on his tax site, may well have been following the example of Mohammed, his prophet, who had taken over a dozen wives, marrying everyone from a six-year-old girl to his own daughter-in-law, along with countless captured women taken as sex slaves (setting the model still used by ISIS and other Islamist terrorists today) and financed it all through a campaign of robbery and terrorism we know today as ‘Islam’.
The dangers of Sharia law are sometimes obvious, as every act of Muslim terrorism, from 9/11 to the recent Austin bar shooting, reminds us, but they are also subtle, encouraging Muslims to violate American law and morals, and engage in illegal and corrosive behavior as Shreiteh did.
Without the license given to him by Islamic law, would Sharhabeel Shreiteh have married a second time, built a second family and then become desperate enough to finance it with a massive fraud? American men have done similar things, but they were aware that they were doing wrong, where a Muslim man like Shreiteh may have believed he was doing the right thing.
And that the will of Allah and the moral weight of his religion were on the side of his crimes.
Polygamy is rare in America, but common in the terrorist-occupied territories where Shreiteh built his true home and his true family. Much as he cheated on his first wife, he cheated on America, paying lip service, while his heart was in his own land. The lands that brought the Shreitehs to this country are ruled by Islamic law and by the polygamy, fraud and abuse that it brings. If we don’t want more of that in America, we will need a better immigration policy.
Then we can have less fraud, less terrorism and less Islamic polygamous drama.
