While the Switch 2 version was previously planned to launch on October 3, 2025—slightly after the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC versions’ September 12 release—it was delayed to an unannounced date the last minute.

“We made the difficult decision to pause development on that SKU,” Take-Two spokesperson Alan Lewis told Variety. “Our focus continues to be delivering quality post-launch content for players on the ongoing improvements to optimize the game.
