Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game reveals three new characters, launches in July – EventHubs

Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, Sokka and Azula have already been revealed for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. Earlier today during the Evo Awards 2026, a new trailer revealed the eighth, ninth and tenth characters for the game.

Indeed, Zaheer, Fire Lord Ozai and Avatar Kyoshi have been confirmed to be playable within the base roster of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. With it already being confirmed that there will be 12 characters available at launch, this means that only two fighters remain.

Unfortunately, no gameplay for Zaheer, Fire Lord Ozai and Avatar Kyoshi was shown during the new trailer. We only saw them alongside the aforementioned characters in a splash screen.

However, we were given our first glimpses at gameplay for Azula and Sokka. This means that we now know how seven characters will play during gameplay.

Additionally, it was revealed that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is set to be released on July 2, 2026. Features confirmed for launch include a story mode, rollback netcode, crossplay, ranked matches, casual matches, custom lobbies, gallery mode with never-before-seen artwork, and the training mode,

Those that pre-order will be access to the Samurai Appa Skin, exclusive character colors and will be able to participate in a Year 1 Pass character vote.
