M2 has revealed that Hiroshi Iuchi’s Ikaruga spiritual successor, Ubusuna, has been cancelled.

First announced all the way back in 2014, very little has been shown about the game.

It has also been revealed that Iuchi has parted ways with M2. The legendary designer’s last major project was Night Striker Gear.

However, it is hoped the game might be revived in some form outside of M2.
