LONDON — In what is being hailed as a “masterclass in modern policing,” two heroic Metropolitan Police officers were caught on camera walking straight past a young woman being sexually hassled and a white man being violently attacked — choosing instead to heroically tackle and beat a far greater threat: a skinny 19-year-old in possession of offensive memes.
The new viral video, titled COPS: UK Special – “The Great Meme Menace,” perfectly captures the priorities of Britain’s two-tier policing system.
Witnesses say the officers showed remarkable compassion during the episode.
They calmly offered the sexual harasser a bottle of water and words of encouragement, telling him, “You look like you’re working up a sweat, mate. Hydration is important.”
Moments later, they offered the same thoughtful support to a gang kicking a man on the ground, praising their “passionate protest” and “cathartic” emotional release.
But the tone changed instantly when the officers spotted their real target.
“There he is! Meme suspect!” one officer reportedly shouted before both men charged like lions protecting the sacred safe spaces of the realm.
The brutal takedown of the dangerous thought criminal — who was believed to be in possession of a cartoon frog and several “problematic” JPGs — was swift and merciless.
“He was resisting with irony,” one officer explained while kneeling on the young man’s neck. “We had no choice.”
Sources within the Met’s Online Harms Taskforce confirmed that while knife crime, grooming gangs, and street violence are merely “cultural expressions,” posting the wrong frog picture remains a Level 3 national emergency that demands immediate baton deployment.
The episode ends with the now-bloodied meme poster being dragged away in cuffs as the narrator proudly declares, “Another successful operation for the Met. Public safety restored.”
Viewers across the UK reportedly nodded in agreement, saying, “Finally, someone is doing something about the real problem.”
